Some lights which have been immersed in the snow, create a beautiful light show. The snow is so soft and light that it looks like pure cotton on the lights. Winter is here…..holidays are here…..

This was by the merrimack river close to where I am. It was fun and very noisy. The weather behaved so the sights of the fireworks was awesome.
A place close to my work. Had noticed this when I was driving by one day. Dropped in the noon, took some candid pictures of the swans. I guess it was after lunch for those swans, they were so lazy and basking in the sun, that I decided to go some other day.
Akshaya Patra is a Non-Governmental Organization in India which supplies school meals to underprivileged school children. Formed in Bangalore in 2000, Akshaya Patra has grown rapidly. As of December 2007, Akshaya Patra provided mid-day meals to over 825,000 children in over 4500 government schools in 14 locations throughout India.
Foodforeducation.org is the Boston Chapter of the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
This is a great cause and I and my family and my friends are so influenced and inspired by the great unselfish work all the volunteers and members do towards this cause. Please give your time or a little of your money to this great cause.
